About Program
The development, expansion, and tension of the European Union is a subject of importance for the entire world. This multi-country trip takes students from the urban metropolises to the bucolic countryside, examining the history behind the EU’s formation and the tensions that have evolved.
In order to develop the skill set and perspective necessary for global competency, Envoys students pursue rigorous research projects as part of their European journey. Potential project themes include:
The benefits and costs of the EU integration model
The legacies of conflict for modern Europe
The effect of integration on national identity
