About Program

Apply for a life-changing experience in Larissa, Greece. Shadowing is an excellent way to learn more about the pharmacy profession. The shadowing individuals gain a greater sense of the role pharmacists play in the health care team and are exposed to the variety of roles that are filled by pharmacists.
Observed, how the Pharmacist verified each prescription that the pharmacy technicians filled. Learn about the system that the pharmacies use with bar codes.
Our fellow students shadow some days from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Participate in weekly excursions, activities, and group meals. During the weekend fellows are free to travel around Greece or enjoy the beautiful and safe city of Larissa.
The program also has a series of lectures and lab experiments at the Faculty of Health and Sciences at the University of Thessaly.
This program is open to pre-pharmacy and pharmacy students.
