About Program

Study in Norway, a country often associated with happiness and green sustainability practices. In this program, students will explore the Norwegian model of addressing contemporary social issues such as climate change and environmental sustainability, gender equality, housing, immigration, national identity; and more.

We will travel together throughout the semester, visiting many museums, local groups, and interacting with guest speakers. Visits to Oslo, the Western Norwegian Fjords and Copenhagen are all included in the program. The semester program is filled with educational excursions and experiences beyond the traditional classroom to enhance your learning.

Our partnership with the local university, Østfold University College, enhances the community connection in the small to mid-sized town of Fredrikstad; connecting U.S. students to Norwegian and other international students studying in Norway.
