Diversity Management in International Context

It was the first time I take an online course form a different country.
It was actually very interesting as I got the chance to meet my colleagues from different countries around the globe. I think it added value to my experience and it definitely expanded my skills in my work field. I highly recommend taking this course.
As a working student, the course went smoothly. However, it would have been better for me if we had more live sessions for more engagement. Overall, I really enjoyed the course.

Understanding global sustainability challenges

It was an interesting experience to dive into the field of sustainable development and its relevant challenges. It is a hot topic globally, and it was quite useful for me to learn more about the challenges faced globally and how we can on an individual level be part of the sustainable change needed for a better world. I was able to see how sustainability touches every aspect of our daily and is an integral part of everything we do, hence it is actually very possible to make essential changes for a sustainable impact.

  • useful case studies
Cons
  • might be challenging to understand some of the technical language
  • needed more guidance on the assignment and feedback also

Review for the course - Understanding Global Sustainability Challenges

Hello,
My name is Abid Faheem, currently doing my PhD. at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi - India. I took the "Understanding Global Sustainability Challenges" course, which was really helpful in deepening my understanding of contemporary global sustainability challenges.
The course provided me with a thorough insight into the global sustainability issues and how we can address them. As I come from the field of the development sector, the course proved to be quite beneficial for me in acquiring new perspectives and learning. Exciting and enlightening interactions with colleagues, course experts, and the course facilitator enriched the learning experience.

"Wissenschaftliches Schreiben auf Deutsch" with FUB-ContinuEd

I completed my undergraduate degree in Australia and am currently a Master student in Berlin. Although the Master's program is taught in both English and German, I wish to improve my German academic writing skills so that I have more options in the upcoming semesters, (plus I just really like the language). The course was compact, thoughtfully structured, and especially well-suited for those who are writing in German as a foreign language. It also helped me to understand more about what are being expected in German academia. I felt a lot more confident after completing the course, and I felt grateful to have met a great teacher and a group of awesome course mates who shared the same goals.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Ten classes go by very quickly. Enjoy and engage fully in each session/assignment to make the most out of it.

Wissenschaftliches Schreiben auf Deutsch

The experience was unique in that it enabled very interesting conversations and exchanges between students from very different areas of studies, that were joining together for the purpose of learning german and possibly doing an exchange in germany. Our teacher was also great. She teached us the scientific writing form of the german culture through really interesting subjects and really put effort in reaching all the students through their own interests. Her feedbacks were also really appreciated.
