Join The Rainforest Awareness Rescue and Education Center and be part of an unparalleled Internship in order to bring a change to the Peruvian Amazon!
A long-term vision of conservation goals is necessary in order to protect endangered and threatened species in the Amazon Rainforest. As we work to save endangered wildlife in the present, we must also prepare for the challenges that future generations of conservationists will face in the Amazon of tomorrow.
This program is designed to provide participants with the practical knowledge and experience that they will need A multi-layered approach to training that encompasses the many diverse and unique aspects of conservation programs focused in this extremely sensitive region of our planet.
The participants learn at an operating, fully licensed wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center. They work directly with rescued specimens that require specialized care, and help our animal residents recover with the ultimate goal of release.

- Hands-on Wildlife Conservation practice: Work closely together with specialists and gain new knowledge about Wildlife Conservation and Animal Care Sciences.
- Gain Knowledge: Collaborate closely with our staff on site as Biologists, Caretakers and Veterinarians acquiring valuable insights throught hands on experiences, lectures and workshops.
- Develop Conservation and Animal Welfare Projects: Participate directly in ongoing projects or access to data, fieldwork, and expert mentorship to help you shape and develop your own research.
- Community Outreach: Immerse yourself in a remarkable contribution with health campaigns and sustainable ideas to the harmonious relationship between locals and wildlife.
- Thrilling Adventures included: Boat rides along the majestic Amazon River to watch dolphins, explore in a National Reserve and visit traditional markets and ancestral tribes!
