About Program
Keela Permaculture Farm offers a certified Permaculture Design Course by the Permaculture Association, available multiple times a year. This comprehensive 72-hour course covers essential principles of permaculture systems, provides hands-on experience, and includes a personal design project. It is ideal for those seeking to integrate permaculture into their lives, particularly landowners or individuals looking to grow food or become a permaculture teacher or consultant
Participants will experience off-grid living in a supportive community and enjoy nutritious organic meals, with opportunities for calisthenics or yoga. The 52-acre farm features food forests, agroforestry, and sustainable buildings made from straw bale, cordwood, and cob. Students will observe practical applications of permaculture systems, enhancing their skills and knowledge in the field.
