About Program

Imagine life where the days are long on sunshine, and the evenings are full of the colors and sounds of people who enjoy life to its fullest. Based in festive and modern Madrid, this summer session explores the entirety of Spanish culture.

Create your own program by choosing from an array of courses, including Spanish, writing, LGBT studies, and psychology. Travel around Spain, visit Madrid’s art museums, and attend the theater and concerts. Or experience the Spanish workplace by doing an internship in local businesses.

As part of your academic program, you’ll go on a long-weekend study tour to one of the most celebrated regions of Spain: Andalucia.

During the session, you will live with a family or in a residence hall with other international and local students. You will truly experience authentic daily life in Madrid. You’ll also participate in extracurricular activities, a cooking course, a bullfight, and a hiking excursion, and you’ll get to know young locals.
