Included in Magellan program fees are: Tuition, Full-board during program in Salamanca, Galicia and Madrid. All regional travel costs (bus, train, plane) and pre-planned group excursions and activities; as well as all cultural and art workshops and museum entrance fees and guided tours. Travel, accident, medical, baggage, trip cancellation and interruption insurance is also included. Airfare to/from Madrid is not included in the program fees.

About Program

Magellan’s month long program in Salamanca and Galicia is a perfect balance of language learning and fun. Students get a chance to practice their language skills in class with native teachers and in a carefully selected home-stay family while earning college credits. Salamanca is one of the oldest university towns in Europe. Our programs feature art workshops, pen-pal activities, and excursions. The 3 week stay is followed by a full week discovering Galicia: scenic panoramas, colorful medieval festivals, beautiful beaches, and unparalleled history. Magellan is proud to be the only immersion program to feature the “hidden gem” of Spain. The last days in Madrid visiting world class museums will conclude this unforgettable international immersion program which will leave memories of a lifetime.
