About Program
Participate in this transformative 6 credit study abroad course titled "Place, Space and the Creation of Identity: Understanding Self and Europe through the Camino De Santiago Pilgrimage". Taught in English, the course takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of European history. The program takes place in Granada, Spain for three weeks where you will live with a homestay and participate in field trips and excursions. The program is designed to show the impact of the Camino de Santiago over the centuries and how it has shaped the contemporary lives of Spaniards and all Europeans.
