Teach and Learn With Georgia (TLG) is an education movement the Georgian government has introduced to implement extensive educational reforms in the country. Through the program, fluent English speakers work alongside local Georgian English teachers in public schools across the country, focusing on listening and speaking skills. In addition to improving Georgia’s English language proficiency nationwide, the program also aims to provide an opportunity for cultural exchange between Georgia and the rest of the world.

Volunteer teachers in Georgia will teach elementary and middle school students in placements throughout the country. Teachers in Georgia receive a monthly stipend for their volunteer work, paid airfare as well as the ability to participate in cultural exchange activities while getting involved with the local community.
