Pricing

Salary / Benefits
-Pay depends on the teacher's degree and the number of years of experience. Anywhere from $66,670NTD~to $95,080NTD ($2,175 USD~ $3,102USD)
-National Health and Labor insurance included. Taiwan boasts a well-developed public health system that is affordable and easy to access, and most doctors can also speak English (though sometimes with a strong accent).

Price Details
We don't charge our teachers for our services. We also do not take any cut of the teachers' pay. We are directly contracted by the Taiwanese Ministry of Education and are not commission based. If we ask you for money that is not for paying document application fees (Visa, Work Permit, ARC, etc), call the cops! seriously! But as with traveling anywhere to work, you should prepare some start-up money for settling down. (Renting in Taiwan usually requires 2 months of the security deposit, which means you will be paying 3 months' worth of rent money in your first month of arrival!)

17 public senior high schools in Taiwan are welcoming 17 foreign English teachers to join them in their English language teaching programs from February 2023- June 2024. Foreign English teachers will work closely with local teachers to improve the current English teaching methods. We understand that traveling thousands of miles to take on this mission may be challenging; that’s why here at Dewey, we will be there to assist you every step of the way so you can spend your time outside of work enjoying what Taiwan has to offer
