About Program

We have been offering TESOL, TBE and TEYL courses for 20 years and have trained thousands of teachers. With TESOL-direct you will receive professional training and an internationally accepted qualification so that you can go on to teach English to speakers of other languages. Our teachers go on to work in many countries around the world.

We offer 150-hour and 110-hour TESOL certificate courses as well as specialist Business English (TBE) and Young Learners' (TEYL) options.

Our courses by distance learning provide excellent teacher-training programmes and our applicants come from all over the world, both native and non-native speakers of English. Having a TESOL-direct certificate will give you the skills to teach English in the UK and all other countries.

All of our tutors are highly experienced and have worked at primary, secondary and teacher-training levels. They are the very best you will ever find, and will provide you with all the support and guidance that you need.

Types of courses:

150-hour TESOL Certificate Course
This course is equivalent to a taught course of four or five weeks. The topics covered by this course are the same as those on the CELTA & Trinity TESOL certificate taught courses, except that observed teaching practice is an option since our courses are by distance learning. This course is accredited by ACCREDITAT.

110-hour TESOL Certificate Course
This is an excellent, affordable programme which will enable you to teach world-wide. This course is also accredited by ACCREDITAT.

TESOL Teaching Business English Certificate Course
This 65-hour course has been designed for those wishing to teach business English. Applicants should already have a TESOL, TEFL or TESL qualification. Teachers who are able to teach English for business attract significantly higher salaries than those offering only general English.

Teaching English to Young Learners Certificate Course
This 65-hour course is aimed at teachers with general English teaching qualifications (TESOL, TEFL or TESL) who wish to specialise in teaching young learners, typically aged 4 -12.
