About Program

Turn classroom observation into feedback teachers can use. This advanced practicum develops the skills of experienced English teachers, teacher trainers and Directors of Studies through real observation work, practical tasks and professional report writing. Study live online or in Madrid for 20 hours across 10 consecutive weeks, with two hours per week and no more than five participants. You will practise planning an observation cycle, discussing lessons constructively and communicating useful next steps. Entry requires CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate, plus around two years of classroom experience; admission includes an application and interview. Successful completion earns TEFL Madrid Academy's independent Observing Teachers and Giving Feedback certificate, not a CELTA or Trinity award. Ask about the next group and the EUR 350 fee, excluding applicable taxes; this is professional development, not initial TEFL training.
