About Program
The gaucho and his horse have been inseparable elements in the history of Argentina. The origin of the "creole horse" in our pampas is attributed to the introduction of the spanier Pedro de Mendoza made in 1536.
In later centuries, argentinians national governments encouraged the "improvement" of domestic Creole species, introducing breeding stock from England and France, encouraging the development of equestrian activities in the country.
As a sign of the importance gained was declared, "el pato" as the Argentinian national sport and is played on horses. In polo, the great team equine sport, Argentina is a world power. The parades of carriages, tame, jumping and equinotherapy are activities carried out with horses as well. Argentina has a strong horse culture.
With Tingua you can volunteer in a Hippotherapy, a Farmstay or in a Horse Shelter Project inmerse in the pintoresque Hills of the Province of Cordoba experiencing this Argentinian tradition.

Program Highlights
- Whether you are an enthusiast with many years of horse experience or come with no experience and would like to learn more, you can help us run a high quality and safe therapeutic riding program.
- Experiences are twofold at the centre: they provide reward, personal growth and fulfilment not only to patients or horses in rehabilitation, but also to volunteers themselves.
- In farmstay projects, volunteers will live with a family and assist them in the day to day upkeep of their family farm. You will see the great outdoors, get up close and personal with animals.
