About Program
You’ve spent decades building skills, experience, and perspective. Volunteering abroad is a chance to put all of it to work somewhere it counts. GoEco offers a selection of volunteer projects that warmly welcome volunteers aged 50 and over, whether you’re traveling solo or with friends.
Choose from humanitarian, wildlife, and environmental projects in some of the most beautiful places on the planet. Each one is designed with mature volunteers in mind, with tasks suited to your pace and interests, so you can focus on the work and the experience.
This isn’t sightseeing from a tour bus. You’ll work alongside local teams and communities who value what you bring, share what you know, and learn plenty in return. Many programs also offer the option to upgrade to private accommodation for extra comfort and privacy.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to travel with real purpose, this might be it.
