About Program
The Environmental Education Volunteer takes place in the city of Uyuni, the gateway to the biggest tourist attraction in Bolivia, Salar de Uyuni.
A lot of plastic garbage is thrown out right by the city.
If this crisis keeps growing, local people might not be able to live, and Salar de Uyuni might lose its attractiveness.
We need volunteers who can lecture on Environmental Issues and teach the importance of Environmental Conservation at local elementary schools.
Volunteers need to lecture in Spanish, so we require conversational Spanish skills.
The environment in Uyuni is all-in-Spanish, so volunteers can learn or/and improve their Spanish skills.
We also offer English Teaching Volunteer Opportunity at Universidad Mayor de San Andres in La Paz, too.
If you want to experience both this one and the other one, you can volunteer for both projects without any additional fee.
