Social Circus Program

Using circus as a tool the main goal is for the children to improve their self-esteem, teamwork capacity and patience through learning social skills, the value of hard work to achieve their goals, gender equality, conflict management, non-violent communication, etc. They also improve physical skills such as coordination, flexibility, balance, and strength, and gain better knowledge of their own bodies.

Performing Life International operates in three areas of Cochabamba. We run our social circus and socio-educational programs in Alto Buena Vista and Montenegro, two very low-income peri-urban neighborhoods on the outskirts of Cochabamba. Through these two programs we provide social circus classes, socio-educational activities, academic support, healthy food every program day, a safe place and emotional support. Four times a year we organize shows where the children of the program perform in front of big audiences.
