About Program
The eOcambo Foundation and Volunteers runs several volunteer programs to improve the lives of Cambodians. We have set up our volunteering programs to ensure that neither the volunteer or any Cambodians are exploited as has happened in the past here.
We collaborate with carefully selected NGOs who are legitimate, respected and have a great record of delivering the outcomes they were set up to do.
Our programs include the following:
-Building houses
-Installing toilets
-Installing wells
-Improving school facilities
-Teaching English
-Assisting people with disabilities making handicrafts and gardening
eOcambo does not charge volunteering fees, any fees required are paid directly to the NGO involved.
We are funded by Volunteers staying in the eOcambo hotels. The hotel accommodation cost includes an enormous breakfast, airport transfers, a beautiful salt water pool and the support of a native English speaker who is very familiar with Cambodia and it's culture.

Program Impact
You can directly change the lives of Cambodians for the better. Your volunteering program has been extremely well vetted to ensure that your time and money are not wasted and the work you do is beneficial and sustainable. Our family infrastructure programs, house, wells and toilets will improve the health of the entire family almost immediately. It cannot be overstated how much these things improve lives and health. Healthy children stay at school and education is the key to breaking the poverty cycle. With that in mind we also have two programs which directly benefit the education of children, teaching and improving school facilities.
For those with less time, we have two short programs which directly benefit people with disabilities, making recycled paper and gardening on Full Belly Farm.
Besides the benefits to Cambodians, volunteers also rewarded. It is impossible to describe the amazing feeling you get when you change another's life for the better. Volunteering has been shown to have many benefits for th volunteer, including health and well being benefits.
It will open up a world that many do not know existed and it can change your own life for the better. It's a win win situation all around.
