Meeting Critical Health Care Needs and Ending Domestic & Sexual Violence
The Chandra Russo Women with Special Needs Health Clinic aims to offer health services free-of-charge to women with disabilities and their children through a network of medical centers across the North West Region, Cameroon, while also addressing the root causes of health problems and the barriers they face when accessing healthcare.
The Center needs Social Change and Health Educators to set up a women’s health program to help meet Critical Health Care Needs and Ending Domestic & Sexual Violence against women with disabilities.
Volunteers will work on a pilot cooperative program with the local medical center to provide comprehensive health care to Women with disabilities and their children, many are also victims of domestic and sexual violence .
