About Program
Do you have a passion for traveling, fascination to nature, culture, photography ?: volunteer opportunity to develop a collection of initiatives that promote Akum village as a premier Service Learning Destination for students from abroad.
Volunteer tasks primarily focused on:
1. Community based service learning organizations and community development projects-visits to organizations , interviewing, take photographs , selecting community development projects.
2. Cultural Immersion-visit local artists and craft-makers to get an insight on their arts and crafts, the history, techniques ,materials they use video and photograph their products , their music, dance and drumming.. Also outdoors and nature tourism-waterfall adventure, horseback riding, hiking and sightseeing excursions.
3. A Resource material for students : produce a video compilation , digital outreach promotional brochures and displays materials for social media.
