FSF Service Learning and Travel to Costa Rica and Nicaragua
About Program
We are the Health Without Borders Foundation ( Fundacion Salud Sin Fronteras) and we provide accessible healthcare to the poor in Central America, We offer two service learning programs for students abroad. This Service Learning programs are catered for Pre Med students, Dental , nursing and any other student interested in a healthcare career, Ideal during Gap Year. The students will be learning basic medical practices such as taking medical history from local patients, vital signs and demographic information gathering, Dental students will be assisting in cleanings and dental evaluations, all under the presence and supervision of a licensed physician, Students will be performing this services in various locations, our 10 day trip will cover 4 different locations, Los Chiles Costa Rica, Liberia Costa Rica, Playa Hermosa Costa Rica and Managua Nicaragua, in the other hand , our weekly in-house program the student get to choose to service in one of our 16 clinics abroad.
