Price Details
The Volunteer Program includes placement on your chosen project and first day orientation, with full support from our team and communication with the non-profit organization throughout your time volunteering. Volunteers have access to Manuel Antonio Spanish School facilities such as WIFI, swimming pool and restaurant. Some projects offer onsite accommodation, otherwise we can organize a home-stay or on-site school accommodation at an additional cost. Transport costs are not included in the program fee.

About Program

Volunteer in Manuel Antonio with local projects run by non-profit organizations. Contribute your time and skills while practicing your Spanish skills and experiencing authentic Costa Rican culture. Project schedules vary but you will usually be expected to contribute a minimum of four hours per day, leaving you with free time to explore the area.

* Conservation Projects *

Volunteer in Manuel Antonio National Park building trails, cleaning the beach, monitoring wildlife and facilitating tourism.

Volunteer on a Bee Conservation Project by giving tours, taking care of hives, producing honey and reintroducing native species.

* Social Projects *

Volunteer at a Community Theater and work with local youth and adults who use drama and the arts to address social issues.

Volunteer at a Home for the Elderly and assist nurses with daily tasks, mealtimes and organize activities, exercise, music and craft projects for the residents.
