We charge a one-time registration fee of just $85 to help us maintain our volunteer department. For that we offer a full orientation, organization of the volunteer placement, and follow up to make sure that everything is working out well.
Volunteers then pay the site directly for their food and accommodation. All the projects that we work with are struggling economically and charge a weekly fee to provide services for the volunteer. In cities and larger towns we have homestay options that volunteers can choose.
We can also offer accompaniment to the volunteer site, and charge extra for this depending on whether the trip takes just one day or two days for our coordinator to get there and back.

About Program

Make a difference in Ecuador by volunteering in one of 25 different grass-roots and community projects around the country. You can work with children in daycare centers, schools and with special needs, animal rescue, conservation and sustainable agriculture and community development.
We are always happy to hear from enthusiastic volunteers who want to devote from one week and upwards to working in a project in Quito, in an Andean community, in the Amazon rain forest, on the Pacific coast or on the Galapagos Islands.
Whatever your Spanish level we can match you with a suitable project. We can also offer you Spanish classes at our schools in Quito and Cuenca.
Put your talents and enthusiasm to use by contributing to sustainable development in Ecuador.
