About Program
This experience is focused on teaching and consists of going to help the teachers at the school in the refugee camp. The name of the school is Chrida Faith Foundation Academy and it is located 5-10 minutes walk from the house where the volunteers will live. It is a school in which there are about 130 students (all of Liberian origin) and few teachers. We are in constant contact with the director and she is delighted to be part of this project and welcome the volunteers. Volunteers will be able to help in classes and teach different subjects. We will also give them school supplies to take to school.
In addition, we also collaborate with Harmony Disability Centre; a teaching center for disabled children. The idea is that the volunteers who are part of this program also visit this center and help these children have more resources and receive more attention.
This experience can be carried out in the school calendar, which is divided into three quarters.
