We welcome volunteers who want to make this world better!
We have a project to build the clinic in Centinela, located in Huehuetenango dept., Guatemala. We welcome experienced construction workers, carpenters, foremen. To operate the clinic, we need medical volunteers: doctors, pharmacists, nurses and other medical staff (check website for details). And please share our project among your friends!
You must speak at least two of three project languages. We provide food and accommodation. Minimal accommodation time: 1 month.
When we first arrived to Huehuetenango area, we saw kind and hospitable people living in absolute poverty and suffering from various diseases, with no hope to get help and no medical institutions around. We realized that our live would never be the same again unless we would give them a new sense of hope.
Our clinic is absolutely non-profit and is planned to run on donations and by volunteers.

Location
If you want to spend a trip chasing waterfalls, meandering through lush jungles, and seeing world heritage sites; Guatemala should be high on your list. Guatemala can be easy to overlook when there are more travelled destinations in the area, but don't be fooled, this country is filled with incredible landscapes and culture, all at a great price.
