About Program

We are a registered 501C3 Non-profit in the US and Guatemala. We aim to provide adequate love and care to the little ones so they can live better lives and have a stable future. When you volunteer to teach English, support in childcare, or be a teacher assistant there is a mutual impact on you and the children. You provide them with a safe environment, support, supervision, socialization, and education in a range of subjects such as English, Maths, Art, and Sports. Your interaction with them will remain in their minds forever.

You will work with the children in different proposed activities. Adapt to their needs and reinforce school learning.

We're looking for a person who: is dynamic, willing to work with children, and committed. Skills in psychology, education, social work are a plus!

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here. Learn more about how I am Hope Guatemala is promoting ethical volunteering.
