Urban Education in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala

ICAmigos began collaborating with two public schools in the city of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala in 1994. We work with an all girls' school, Manuel Ortega, and a boys' and girls' school a bit more on the outskirts of the city, José La Viña. Volunteers have the opportunity to teach English and/or assist and support teachers who have 50 or more students in a class.
