About Program
The project is titled “Teach English volunteer program”. The project is run in a local primary school where the level of English is absolutely dismal owing to many reasons. The importance of the program lies in improving the English educational standard at these schools. The volunteers give the children a new found confidence. The volunteers will also assist in a wide variety of chosen subjects and activities such as Mathematics, Arts, and Sports. Volunteers are expected to focus primarily on the syllabus being taught in the Schools.
Volunteers will teach the children English covering to their current syllabus. In addition, you can teach Alphabets, Counting, Days of weeks, Months of the year, Manners, Writing practice etc.
Duration - 1 week to the 4-week maximum.
Qualification - open mind and heart.
Volunteering hours/days- 5 days a week- Monday to Friday, 4-5 hours a day.
Start dates/joining dates- flexible except the month of june as it is summar vacation.
