About Program

Volunteering Journeys offers life-changing Medical Internship Programs across India, Vietnam, Peru, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Nepal, and the Philippines, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical exposure in some of the world’s most dynamic and developing healthcare systems. These internships are designed for students pursuing medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, public health, or related healthcare fields who wish to enhance their practical skills, broaden their clinical understanding, and explore global healthcare challenges from the ground up.

Across all seven destinations, interns work alongside qualified doctors, nurses, and health professionals in hospitals, community clinics, outreach campaigns, and medical NGOs. Participants observe diagnoses, treatments, consultations, surgeries, and inpatient care, gaining valuable insight into health systems that operate with fewer resources, different cultural frameworks, and unique medical realities.
