About Program
We accept students and passionate people to help us with field and lab work, fund raising and public relations. If you are a nature lover and an enthusiastic person, if you dream of an experience, that is funny but also useful for the environment and the ocean, take action! Join MareTerra on the island of Sardinia for a two-week experience in which you can assist in promoting marine conservation while directly making a positive impact on tourists and local community.
Volunteer in the medieval city of Alghero for bottlenose dolphin and marine conservation, while raising public awareness for marine life preservation. This project has two main areas of focus:
1. Bottlenose dolphins conservation
2. The study of the effect of tourism and climate change on marine and coastal ecosystems.
Some of your tasks: data collection on bottlenose dolphins, snorkeling and trekking surveys, beach cleaning, public awareness activities.
