About Program
The Music Therapy Program by Young Surgeons Travel uses music to support healing and emotional well-being in hospitals, clinics, and community centers in Kenya. Volunteers work with patients, including children, the elderly, and those recovering from trauma, using music to reduce stress, enhance communication, and improve mental health. Activities include singing, playing instruments, guided relaxation, and interactive sessions with healthcare professionals. This program is open to musicians, therapists, and volunteers passionate about music and healthcare. It runs for 2 weeks to 6 months, with accommodation, meals, and 24/7 support included.
