Protection of cetaceans & whale sharks in Madagascar

The Nosy Blue Project is in its early stages and is in need of your help to collect key data on whales, dolphins, and whale sharks all found in the northwest part of Madagascar. You are welcomed on the remote, volcanic island of Nosy Komba where you have the luxury to be without cars, roads and typical electricity. Accommodation is at the lovely Floraly Komba where you will be trained to record data, take part in awareness presentations, conduct beach cleans, learn about the area’s cetaceans and become part of the community.

You will be working with natives and residents of Madagascar that worked years in presenting to tourists the life changing experience that Nosy Komba and the area's marine wildlife offers. The program was created to blend our talents, love and pride of the environment in hopes of creating protected areas to preserve as much of it as possible. Your efforts will not be forgotten by us, the local village and certainly not by you, so come be a part of the adventure.
