About Program
Teach what you love, teach what we need! The Henna Cafe is proud to offer high-quality education free of charge to local Moroccans in a range of subjects.
We are always seeking local and foreign volunteers with the abilities and passion to teach and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds. No experience necessary – just patience and personality! This is an ideal opportunity for those who would like to give back to the community in Marrakech, as well as those considering pursuing formal training in teaching and wish to gain initial experience.
We offer language classes at beginner and intermediate levels, teaching reading, writing, and conversation. The languages we currently teach are English, French, and German. We also teach philosophy, mathematics, and physics, and offer study groups to prepare students to take their baccalaureate exams, as well as educational workshops for children. Coming soon are classes in Spanish and Theatre.
