Learn, Explore and Give Back at the Top of the World: Photography in the Himalayas
About Program
Join international award winning photographers and social project leaders on a photography volunteer adventure of a lifetime in the Indian Himalayan mountains. Visiting Leh and Dharamsala, the home of Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama, you will learn the fundamental aspects of mountain and portrait photography, explore the region's cultural riches, and volunteer on a cultural service project to help Tibetan people in-exile.
Tibetan people in exile face challenges that can be difficult and heart-breaking; this project will aid these challenges, using photography as a medium to do so. This trip is a blend of photography learning, volunteering and adventuring; our guides are well experienced in giving photography tours, leading volunteer projects, and are well travelled in India. It’s a volunteer project offered voluntarily, we will also be offering our services voluntarily so as to give you the most value. See the website for details.
