Volunteer at the Shree Rupa Jyoti School, Nepal

Video and Photos

EHN first started working with the Shree Rupa Jyoti School, Nepal near Begnas Lake, Pokhara. And over the years we have built up a great working relationship with the school, the area & its students. And we have painted the school, added solar panels so the computer classes arent disrupted when the power cuts arrive & now want to increase the number of teaching volunteers to help improve the children's education. Here you will be teaching in a school with around 200 children on any given day between the ages of 4-16. And depending on your qualifications will be asked to help in a number of classes working together with the Nepali teacher. But if you are a qualified teacher or have the confidence to teach yourself there will be chances to try your ideas in front of the students.
If you are not a teacher or student but are interested in teaching then there may be a place for you to experience teaching in a different environment.
