About Program

Virtual volunteers are always welcome at La Esperanza and we're open to new ideas as to how you can volunteer with us. Passionate individuals can work as virtual volunteers in areas such as translation, writing and editing, design and administration. Now more than ever we need help raising funds so fundraising projects online or in your own country are more than welcome.
The aforementioned volunteers are valuable throughout the year and time commitments are entirely flexible. Volunteers in this role should have at least advanced level English and additional language requirements vary depending on responsibilities.

Due to the global pandemic we have seen our international volunteer numbers drop dramatically and as a result this has meant that we
have created a new kind of online volunteer role, the online English teacher. This volunteer will be leading English classes to the children in our Learning Centers. Please contact us ASAP for more information.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
