About Program
Volunteer in Nicaragua! Our projects are open to students, solo travelers, and groups, starting from one week at $309.
Projects include English teaching, special needs teacher training, medical care, zoo assistance, agricultural development, counseling, computer literacy, and business development. Internships for students and professionals are also available through this program.
Your schedule is flexible, and you're encouraged to mix and match volunteer projects when you sign up for our program in Nicaragua. Spanish language ability is not required for most of our volunteer programs, though free Spanish classes are available onsite!
You'll stay in a shared, colonial style volunteer house in the heart of Masaya, about 25 minutes outside of the country's capital. At least 80% of your program fee is given directly to your host group for program development, volunteer support, housing, and supplies needed for your community-based projects.

Location
Nicaragua is a less touristed destination than some of its neighbors like costa rica, Belize, and Guatemala. Because of this, it is a relatively untarnished country with plenty of surfing spots, volcanoes, and divers paradises. Nicaragua is abundant in natural beauty and everything here comes with a smaller price-tag than other Latin American countries.
