Volunteer and Learn Spanish in León, Nicaragua

Our goal is to recruit individuals who are studying International Relations, Environmental Studies, Social Work and other related fields, for this unique opportunity. The idea is simple yet powerful: volunteers come to live with a host family in León (or they could opt for an hostel stay), while traveling to other cities and volunteering.

Another major part of the program are the Spanish courses: classes are fun, interactive and offered at various levels Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm. Friday through Sunday is time reserved for the myriad adventurous activities that Nicaragua has to offer: Volcano boarding, surfing, horse back riding, the beach, all sorts of incredible recreations!

We have partnerships with the Botanical Gardens of Leon, as well as, a few youth and after school programs; additionally, there is a community art component to the work we do in Nicaragua-whether it be a community muriel or a puppet show, we just need volunteers to help out!
