About Program
Spark Ventures' Nicaragua Partnership Trip leads participants through a variety of activities in Nicaragua. Participants spend time with the children of our Nicaraguan partner, Las Tias, engaging in activities such as reading programs, craft-making, and sharing meals. Participants see first-hand how Spark supports Las Tias and work towards our shared goals and plans for the future. Travelers are able to make a positive impact on the children through their interactions. The Spark team leads cultural tours and excursions to significant landmarks and throughout cities Leon and Granada where participants enjoy meals on the beach, a rum factory tour, market shopping, and more! The trip introduces participants not only to the sights, smells, tastes, and sounds of Nicaragua, but, most importantly, to the welcoming and hopeful people of the nation and their dreams for the future, themselves and their children.
