Program Impact
Depending on the location of your outreach, you may be seeing on average 150-250 patients each day. In addition to the medical outreach, we will also organize community events, and volunteer our time at partner organizations such as hospitals, orphanages, and local senior centers. Each session differs. Please apply to receive a detailed itinerary for your chosen session.
Our programs run solely on student fees. This enables us to hire local doctors, purchase medications and vitamins, provide donations for orphanages, as well as hire local translators, cooks, drivers. Not only are we helping communities in need by providing health care services (entirely free of charge to all patients), but we are also creating jobs. Most ecolodges that welcome our teams allocate a portion of the hotel fees to generate programs in the local communities!
