About Program
Do you have a background or experience in health care or medicine? Sign up for our Public Health program, which involves working on public health initiatives together with our staff at Vive Peru. Take part in activities centered around our Parasite Prevention as well as Health Education and Training programs.
As a volunteer, you will join in community visits to gather laboratory samples or home visits to provide family counseling and collect data. You will also help prepare and lead lectures on disease prevention for community members as well as participate in community medical campaigns. Work together with our staff, local health centers and community members to reduce the incidence of anemia and parasites in children under 5 and promote healthy communities!
This project also focuses on women's empowerment, promoting healthy habits within their homes and communities. Join us in educating and supporting households in Peru.
