About Program
Typhoon Rai, known locally as Odette, made landfall in the Philippines in December 2021 causing widespread damage and devastation. It affected 9.9 million people, killed over 400, and left 2.4 million in need of assistance. One of the greatest needs is safe learning environments for students. All Hands and Hearts has modified UNICEF designed Temporary Learning Classrooms (TLCs) to improve their longevity and sustainability. The team has identified nine schools to support by building these TLCs, impacting over 600 students. Join us in building TLCs for displaced students in the Philippines!
