Popular Programs

Daycare program

Volunteers who choose this program will work in schools for young children, kindergartens or day care centers, where they will take care of the children, organize play activities or teach basic concepts. In the day centers, the priority is to be with the children and show them a good time, whether it is through games, dances, songs or simply accompanying them in their daily lives. Volunteers are not required to speak in French, as the children we work with in the centers are still very young.

All the volunteers in M'bour

This volunteer project immerses participants in the day-to-day operations of a medical center, allowing them to learn about African medicine. Tasks vary based on experience, adapting to the Senegalese work environment. The medical center, focuses on vaccination campaigns, maternity care, and family planning. While not assuming direct responsibilities, volunteers, depending on their background, may assist with patient care, diagnosis, injections, wound care, prenatal care...

Volunteer in the school teaching program

Several primary and secondary schools in M'Bour have learning programs in which volunteers have the opportunity to teach different subjects alongside local teachers, such as maths and science to students of different levels. Develop activities with the students such as arts and crafts, sports, drawing, colouring, writing and more! Many of the children here are quite young and require attention and activities to keep them stimulated to help them grow.

The house is great, the volunteer programs they have are real projects, where the help provided by the volunteer is great.

Experience in Senegal

I went there alone, and the support was awesome, I had an amazing experience, that I recommend to everyone. The staff there are so nice and always try to help you. I met new people and see an other point of view of life. I went two weeks and I think that is a good time to stay there. My volunteer was teaching kids and stay with them. I lived in a nice house with other volunteers, I ate diferent type of food, typical of Senegal. At weekend, I did a program of visit the capital, go to an island and I did a safari in Bandia.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
A diferent type of life
