About Program
Love Lions Alive Sanctuary is located in Free State, South Africa. Our sanctuary is one of only a few places in South Africa where captive bred lions are safe for the rest of their lives. We also provide our lions with the opportunity to live their life with dignity in as close to natural environment as possible. Our complete devotion is to the lions and what that particular lion needs.
We recommend at least one week stay if you want to do our Volunteer Program so that you can get a taste of how it is to work with lions on a daily basis. It takes a few days to become part of the system.
