About Program
Volunteer in South Africa and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Our program is based on actual conservation work. Unlike most programs that just keep you busy, you are expected to take part in all activities ranging from perimeter patrols and reserve maintenance to game counts and wildlife relocations and a lot more. Along with other participants, you stay in luxury shared accommodation with all the amenities you might need. The program takes place on a proclaimed private nature reserve, close to the bushveld town Thabazimbi. A variety of plains game including giraffe and zebra call the reserve home. Though dangerous game isn’t present, a healthy predator population including leopard, spotted- & brown- hyena occur on the reserve. Spend a minimum of 2 weeks on the reserve, with the option of extending up to six weeks. We welcome volunteers who are 18 years and older, reasonably fit and in good health.
