About Program

Step into the heart of South Africa’s Klein Karoo and contribute to meaningful wildlife conservation efforts. This program gives you the rare opportunity to work directly with experienced rangers and conservation staff, supporting the care, monitoring, and protection of rescued and free-roaming species.

Volunteers assist with daily animal care, data collection, and field research while also engaging in broader conservation projects that protect biodiversity across the reserve. Activities may include feeding elephants, monitoring cheetahs, conducting game counts, or supporting enrichment for lions and other animals that can no longer survive in the wild.

Each task adds to the long-term mission of creating safe, sustainable habitats where wildlife can thrive.

Whether you’re on a gap year, taking a career break, or exploring a new path in conservation, this program offers an unforgettable way to make a real impact while experiencing the beauty of South Africa’s landscapes and wildlife.
