About Program
We require volunteers working with children (3–18 yrs) who access free services from the Children's Empowerment Centre and other groups such as staff, local volunteers, parents, women’s groups, youth board, teachers, local estate-run daycare centres, community groups and members. We have a vibrant after-school programme, therefore we require core-subject and English teachers to help run extra classes. We need English-speaking helpers, organisers and youth leaders to help run vocational training and empowerment programmes. If you have a practical skill or special knowledge to share with children then we want to hear from you. We run a range of activities and events to stimulate young minds and expose children to new learning opportunities. We need kind and creative volunteers with talents and interests in aesthetic subjects (music, art, dance, sports). We also require volunteers who can help with building maintenance, painting, gardening, landscaping, environmental management and more.
