About Program
Our program is based in the jungle of central Sri Lanka. Volunteers care for and help in the daily upkeep of a working Elephant orphanage. These are reduced and older, retired working Elephants in captivity.
The other activities our volunteers do is help in the local community with various teaching, conservation and eco education projects. The volunteers stay in a quality house where accommodation and food our supplied.
Volunteers also have lots of spare time in which to tour, Safari or track this beautiful country and its amazing scenery. From Indiana Jones sales temples to watching snake charmers and Fire Walking! This is a great varied project open to all ages and experiences. We also offer stand alone projects for those wishing to work exclusively in Children's homes, Hospitals and even a Sea turtle Conservation project. More details at our dedicated website.
