You want to gain experiences in the medical sector in Arusha, Moshi or Lushoto? You already have medical knowledge? Then come and support hospitals or health centers in the challenges they are facing every day due to lack of resources like water, power and medical supplies.
The volunteer can contribute his or her skills in one of five hospitals, depending on experience, previous knowledge, medical specialization and demand. In Moshi, Arusha and Lushoto are large hospitals with many departments. In addition there are two smaller clinics in Arusha, which are mainly specialized in family planning, birth and childhood illnesses. These also offer HIV / AIDS testing and other services.
The volunteer will accompany the doctor or nurse in his / her daily work. Depending on experience, the volunteer may work later independent and also share his / her expertise with the other staff.
