About Program
The volunteer project consists in constructing public facilities, namely public latrines. The local population will work together with the volunteers for achieving the goal, that is to alleviate the lack of sanitary infrastructure. The volunteers will have to pick up sand and gravel, make bricks, build foundations and walls.
Volunteers will be also involved in reforestation activities around a youth center in the town. Volunteers' tasks consist of filling sachets, putting nurseries in the sachets and watering them, land clearance, planting the seedlings. During the project, volunteers will have talks with local farmers about the ravages of anarchic bush fires. Volunteers will organize activities on environmental education for the children so that the work already done lasts forever.
